ABOUT US - CARIBE HORSE RIDING CLUB
Our ranch was built in 2007, we have 11000 sq meters on
the farm and two hectares of pasture, the horses graze during the night
and are kept in their clean fresh stables during the hottest hours,
they are watered, fed, cleaned and inspected daily, they are all shoed
every 7 weeks by our horse shoe smith for their comfort as well as
yours, they are vacuned every year and dewormed every 4months, they are
sprayed regularly against flies and mosquitoes.
We have 8 horses and one foal, from which two can be for kids and light
weight riders, because of their smaller size, and the other 5 are big
and strong european like horse, the older is 10 year old and the
average age is 5, so they are in their prime condition, we believe that
what makes a good ride beside the beauty of the scenary, is also, well
cared horses, that seems happy, along with a passionate guide with good
knowledge of the area as well as advanced riding skills, and of course
comfortable material. I insist on that point because I cancelled so
many rides at the sight of the animals, while vacationing around the
world ranch self promoted as a dream place when it was in fact old
wounded abused, starving horses, from money driven ranch owner, this is
too common.
We have one paint horse, one andalusian mare, one appaloosa pur breed,
one english cross criollo, one pure quarter horse mare and two
criollos, and the baby cross criollo andalusian.
Three of them are really good jumpers, and all are great trecking
polyvalent horses, they are riden no matter what regularly to keep
their muscle mass at it’s best for them and for your riding
pleasure. Their are trained to my voice, tong clicks that you’ll
be explained, and not to fear most of the dangers we could meet,
usually, people playing ball games, horses, or cars… (Parelli
desensibilisation method).
The ambiance here is a family one, you will be greated at the ranch
that is also our home by my self and my two kids, you will be treated
as friends, not as clients.

About the owner
When
I came here the first time in vacation in 2006, it was love at first
sight and I came back to France (my home country) just to put my house
for sell, said bye bye bosses and executive lifestyle, packed and moved
here to concretise a life long dream, having my own ranch, with nested
in a post card scenary surroundings, and if possible live from my
passion. So far the results are pretty good, the family has happily
embraced the CostaRican lifestyle.
We work hand in hand with the majority of the local hotels and tour
operator, and the stables has earn a great reputation from the quality
of its tours, horses, and material, We were surprised to see how
quickly the word has spread to a nation wide level.
