HORSE BACK RIDING TOURS -

DAY TOURS
From 1 hour to a full day, we
will guide you along the coast riding on pristine beaches and jungle
trails. Your guide will explain the basics of horseback riding (if
needed) and tell you about the beautiful region and the amazing nature
of Costa Rica.
We take all levels, children
from 6 years old, and we provide helmets. We require a minimum of 2
persons for any tour, and of 3 people for the short ride.
We only take advanced bookings (at least a day prior to the ride), so please contact us to check availability and details!
Short Beach tour - 1 hour horseback riding - 50$ per person

Can be done anytime during the day. A minimum of 3 persons required.
Meeting at the ranch, pick up & drop off available at your own
expense.
Beach-jungle
morning tour - 2.5 hours horseback riding - 75$ per person

Starting between 8:00am and 10:00 am, we will meet at the ranch and find
your
matching horse, according to your experience, from first timer to
accomplished riders. We will leave the ranch and will alternate between
ride on the beach and in the jungle. We will offer you to trott and
gallop on the beach if you wish.
We prefer to go in small groups (no more than 6) according to language and level, you
may have to ride with others if you are alone or only 2. You will be
more comfortable wearing long pants and closed shoes,
a hat or sunscreen. Pick up and drop off included in the price.
Beach-jungle
afternoon tour - 2.5 hours horseback riding - 75$ per person

The beach-jungle afternoon tour, is mostly like the above,
and
can start between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. The sun is also less strong in the
afternoon. We will come back at sunset.
Honey mooners
special - 2 hours horseback riding - 145$ per person

We offer you a private ride (you 2 and your guide),
mostly on the beach. We will leave at 3:00pm, so we can see the sunset
colors on our way back. The ride is followed by a private couple
massage with two licensed massage therapist
on two professional massage beds for a full relaxation. This is one of our best seller!
Half day Tour
- 3.5 hours horseback riding - 95$ per person

The half day tour combines both beach and jungle, and can be done
either morning or afternoon. We will stop for drinks and snacks, and
ride along different beaches, from Playa Grande to Punta Uva with it’s small
lagoons and
natural pools, rated one of the best beaches of the world by Travel and
Leisure magazine!
Night Tour -

Check your moon calendar! The night tour is taking place only in the
three days around the full moon, a very
special tour where we will see night howls, raccoon, opossum and the
great moon light over the calm sea, the light is so bright we
won’t need any kind of lights a truly memorable experience.
The hippocamp
Tour - 85$ per person Book it
Enjoy a very special moment and swim with your horse! We will ride
first for 2 hours on the beach, then will undo the saddle, and ride
bareback in our bathing suit in the ocean... a once
in a life time experience! This tour can only be done when the sea
conditions allow it, and is reserved to experienced riders.
Full day Tour

We will meet in the morning (no later than 8:30am) from the ranch and we
will ride on the beach all the way to the white sand beach of Cocles.
We will stop to visit the Jaguar
rescue center
where we will learn about the local animals (a must do!)
before a
tasteful meal at a good restaurant, while the horses
rest.
Then we will slowly canter and trot along the white sand beaches of
Playa Chiquita, to finally reach Punta Uva with it’s small
lagoons and
natural pools, rated one of the best beaches of the world by Travel and
Leisure magazine, where we will take another break with swimming option!
MULTI DAY TOURS
The Manzanillo Gandoca 3 days tour - 200$ per person per day, all included

For a complete unforgettable experience! The first day is the same as
the full day tour. Accommodation will be arranged in private
cabins, all meals are
included. On the second day, we will meet again at the ranch in the
morning and will ride to Manzanillo, the end of the road where we will
stop for lunch. We will continue in the afternoon off the beaten track
well into the Gandoca-Manzanillo
refuge. We will go at your own pace and stop for swimming on deserted
beaches. The night will be spent in Punta
Mona
(Monkey Point), a friendly eco lodge nestled in a perfect
location. This eco
lodge can only be reached by foot, boat or horse. This is a magic
place, surrounded by nature for a true immersion in the Costa Rican
rain forest. The next morning we will follow the eco lodge activity, or
ride all the way to Gandoca with an option to spot the turtles when it
is the season. We will head back in the afternoon, and be back at the
ranch before dark. The trip will be tailored to your wishes, with an
optional
ocean swim with the horses on the way.
3 Days nature
Trip - 250$ per person per day, all included Book it
Learn about Costa Rica amazing nature! Your horse will take you on the
beach to the botanical garden where you will learn about the tropical
plants and fruit trees. On the second day we will visit the
wildlife rescue center where you will learn about the tropical
fauna. On the 3rd day we will learn about a local delicassy : chocolate
on a visit to a local chocolate farm. All you can eat tasting! The
visiting times are about 2 hours per day, the rest of the time we will
ride on the beach or on a jungle path. Accommodation, meals and entrance

Pickup
policy - Hotel
pick up available, and included in the 2.5 hour, half and full day ride. Pick up arrangement can be made for the 1 hour
tour from 10 to $ 20 depending on the distance and the number
of
guests.
Cancellation policy
- We will
reschedule you in case of heavy rainfall, full refund if cancellation
occurred more than 24h prior to the tour, half the price from 24h to 3h
before the tour, full price will have to be paid if cancellation
occurred less than three hour before the tour, (3 days for the multiple
day trips) for no valid reason.
Liability and insurance - We
have
basic insurance for the ranch however we do advice our riders to take a
special personal insurance, as our insurance does not cover people
injuries.
Weight limits -
We have a weight limit of 100 kilos (200 pounds).
Payment - The
payment can be made upon your arrival. We do not offer credit card payment. Payment has to be made in cash.
